Under the hood

The plumbing that keeps
all of it running.

The unglamorous layer that turns side projects into things that stay online. Also mine.

Servers and deploys

Hetzner and other VPS boxes, nginx and Caddy, certificates, pm2 and systemd services, deploy scripts with backups and hash checks. Sites go live in one command and stay there.

Bitcoin stack

Own Lightning node, BTCPay Server for card-free checkouts, a Nostr relay, a Cashu mint and LNURL tooling. Payment rails I run myself, not a plugin I rent.

Automation

Nightly stat reports by email, visitor counters without cookies, a browser-based dev environment and a small crew of in-house agents for mail, bookkeeping and outreach drafts.

How these numbers are estimated

Hours are derived from code volume, commit history and feature scope, weighted by complexity rather than raw lines. Payout, crypto and real-time systems count for more than boilerplate. Value ranges assume senior freelance to boutique-agency rates of €80–180 per hour for specialised Bitcoin, Lightning, Nostr and real-time work. They describe what the software would cost to commission, not a bill for any reader.
